❝yeah, yeah —- right back at’cha, girlfriend. ❞ for this being THE GOOD PLACE, the imbalance of primary coloring along the building’s exterior paired with the clown mural was beyond outlandish … SERIOUSLY, who likes clowns enough for them to be incorporated into interior decorating ? mouth falls agape when THE GODDESS herself took hold of eleanor’s hands, and for once she is at a loss for words. ❝sh’yeah. you can say that again. ❞ perhaps it was polite, complimenting the bizarre townhouse when it wasn’t remotely comparable to the neighboring mansion, but eleanor wasn’t familiar with civility like tahani’s ( whose decency was almost intimidating ). ❝this is a luxury few can afford, sweets. ❞ still, canines are barred to resemble a smile and she’s following the woman’s movement feebly, stealing a spot on the couch beside the belle; if tahani really is her soulmate, eleanor scored bigtime. there’s laughter suddenly, fading after uncertainty blossomed over whether each word was a jab at the terrible house design or if she may have been attempting to sympathize. ❝ you would think that, but i bet i could find all of this at walmart. cheap, but affordable ! that’s my motto. ❞cue a brief silence. ❝ this is nothing like your lavish home, i take it ?❞ of course not. the grass outside that mansion is far nicer than the entirety of this house’s interior. ❝so! what are you doing here, you sexy thing ? i wasn’t expecting a visit from you. i totally would’ve asked janet to bring us a bottle of champagne, you know. ❞
